Receptionist - The Woodlands, TX

Centric is looking for a skilled and professional receptionist to join our fast-moving and growing company as the welcoming host to all who visit our corporate headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas.  We are looking for a cheerful, resourceful individual who has a strong sense of customer service and takes pride in maintaining a professional and welcoming office space.  This role will report to our Senior Executive Assistant, and have additional managerial oversight coming from our Chief Executive Officer and Vice President of Human Resources.

  • Maintains trust and confidentiality in all aspects of their work.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive and welcome guests and visitors into Centric’s corporate office.
  • Greet candidates for interviews, and alert interview team of their presence.
  • Appropriately manage cold-call and drop-in visitors, ensuring unplanned visits are not disruptive to internal teams.
  • Receive deliveries and coordinate with internal employee recipients upon arrival.
  • Receive, distribute, and dispatch office mail.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of shared spaces (reception lobby, conference rooms, and breakrooms on the main floor), restocking supplies when needed.
  • Coordinate office supply orders and distribution within the office suites.
  • Coordinate catering needs for leadership and departmental meetings.
  • Communicate broader office needs with building management contact.
  • Support office and team events through coordination, set up, and/or tearing down
  • Perform other clerical duties and provide support to senior leaders for company-wide initiatives, as needed.

 

  • High school diploma/ GED
  • Proven experience as a receptionist, office manager, or similar clerical position
  • Professional attitude and presence, and strong ability to be flexible and pivot when needed
  • Excellent phone etiquette and cheerful, friendly demeanor
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, active listening skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under competing timelines
  • Customer service mindset and strong desire to provide support and calm

Work Schedule and Expectations

  • Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (including a one-hour lunch break)
  • Business casual dress code (with jeans on Fridays) with a polished personal presentation
