Account Executive, Emerging Enterprise - job 1 of 2

Braze is a leading customer engagement platform looking for an Account Executive on the Emerging Enterprise team to manage full sales cycles and grow new and existing enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate has proven SaaS enterprise sales experience, strong prospecting and business development skills, and a track record closing deals in the $200K–$1M+ ARR range.

Skills

  • 5+ years selling SaaS to enterprise clients with consistent quota attainment
  • Proven prospecting, business development, and new logo acquisition skills
  • Strong experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM to manage pipeline and forecasts
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to navigate and influence complex, matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with analytics, marketing automation, CRM, or digital media publishing solutions
  • Comfort with social selling and leveraging digital channels to engage buyers

Responsibilities

  • Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close for a portfolio of prospective and existing enterprise customers
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, social selling, and qualification
  • Develop and execute account plans; identify and engage key decision-makers across IT and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales enablement on lead generation and campaign execution
  • Create and deliver persuasive presentations and product demonstrations tailored to buyer needs
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure contracts to achieve quota and OTE targets
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records (Salesforce) to support sales operations
  • Partner with customer success and product teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful implementations

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Continuing education or sales certifications in SaaS, marketing tech, or related fields considered a plus
