Job Description

The annual base salary for this role is $97k - $115k.

As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible for developing relationships with key luxury travel agencies and partners to identify business opportunities and maximize revenue.  The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the intricacies of the luxury hotel market and be comfortable meeting and exceeding revenue goals, as well as being an excellent communicator and negotiator. This position is primarily responsible for achieving an individual revenue sales quota for the group market.  Provides leadership and supports the team in achieving departmental goals and objectives.

  • Create demand through prospecting, identifying new customers, and growing existing key accounts.
  • Develop pre-sales strategies, qualify account potential, and meet established sales objectives.
  • Conduct sales trips to update clients, solicit business, and establish new relationships.
  • Deliver professional sales presentations and skillfully negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Assist in formulating annual sales and marketing plans, including short and long-term objectives.
  • Increase sales in ancillary areas such as golf and spa.
  • Participate in management meetings, client meetings, and promotional events as needed.
  • Collaborate with Catering/Conference Services for planning and execution of functions.
  • Maintain proficiency in contractual negotiations, rate quotation, and hospitality sales techniques.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work with diverse clientele.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A four-year college degree in business or hotel administration is preferred.

Experience:

  • This sales professional must have a minimum of 2-3 years of either hotel group, leisure, or catering sales experience and a proven track record in the achievement of their financial and administrative goals.
  • Previous group sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Delphi/Salesforce system preferred.
