Job Description:

As a NetApp Supplier Manager, you will build influential relationships with key decision makers at NetApp and with our partners in order to grow sales and market share in respective technologies through various programs and marketing communications activities. You will act as liaison between field selling groups and Corporate to resolve questions/ issues regarding products and/or suppliers, promotional materials. In this position you will be expected to provide guidance to the field on product solutions, buying process, etc.

This role will be focused on growing and enabling the distribution managed partner (DMP) segment through education on NetApp product offerings, in-person and virtual partner presentations, facilitating events such as kickoffs, road shows, trainings, etc. and other sales enablement related activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop predictive models to identify partners likely to churn or those with high growth potential based on buying patterns or renewal history.
  • Build battlecards and quick reference guides to help sales more easily position NetApp’s solutions.
  • Accelerate flash revenue through strategic DMP partners by providing technical enablement via our technical team, sales enablement, financial incentives, and targeted demand generation.
  • Focus on land and expand accounts with partners. Drive net new Commercial, Mid-Market, & Strategic (CMS) pipeline with DMP partners through demand generation, sales enablement, and services certified tracks to help them break into new verticals and increase NetApp mindshare and profitability.
  • Accelerate high performance as well as capacity flash sales through technical refreshes, technical and sales enablement, financial incentives, and targeted demand generation.
  • AI: leverage Arrow’s Technical Briefing Center (TBC) and AI Center of Excellence to win new workloads and new markets with an estimated $6B+ addressable market by 2027.
  • Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision makers resulting in Arrow being able to gain competitive advantage on sales opportunities and be a supplier advocate within Arrow and our partners.
  • Work as a resource for the sales team to enable navigation through the NetApp partner program, to assist in selling suppliers/technologies to customers and to position Arrow appropriately with suppliers at both the corporate and local levels.
  • Identify specific market segments and customers to market NetApp to the Arrow sales team with the goal being to grow the DMP partner base across CMS, ASA, AFF, FAST quotes, & other strategic growth areas.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales/market share with NetApp and conduct stakeholder management with key constituents in other departments to enable implementation of strategies.
  • Implement ease of doing business initiatives with suppliers including, but not limited to EDI connectivity with partners and NetApp via ArrowSphere, frictionless commerce, sales tools, etc. Coordinate and own supplier reviews including resources needed, presentation, and analysis.
  • This position will require up to 40% travel.
     

What’s We’re Looking For

  • Experience selling in the IT Sales Channel.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the IT sales channel landscape, including a strong understanding of distribution models, reseller networks, and partner ecosystems, combined with broad product knowledge across hardware, software, and cloud solutions. Experience with NetApp is preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Represents the level at which career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes.
  • Typically resolves complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.
  • Often leads the work of project teams; may formally train junior staff.

Experience / Education
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Work Arrangement

For candidates in Colorado; Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote

For candidates in other states; Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$98,900.00 - $145,202.90

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company’s request and sole discretion.
