The Role:
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow two teams of engineers responsible for 2 of Arketa’s 4 core product lines. This is a highly impactful role where you’ll balance leadership and technical guidance, working closely with Product and Design to deliver features that directly shape the future of wellness.
What You’ll Do:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers working across 2 product lines.
Partner with Product and Design leadership to define strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
Drive technical excellence through architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices.
Ensure on-time delivery of features while balancing quality, scalability, and speed.
Collaborate with other engineering managers to align technical direction across all product lines.
Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and growing top engineering talent.
Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in engineering management.
Experience leading teams that own multiple product areas or lines.
Strong technical background with familiarity in modern web technologies (Rails, React, Node, or similar).
Proven track record of shipping customer-facing products at scale.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design.
Passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.

For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $190,000–$230,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses as part of our total compensation package. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.
