Skills
- Hands-on hardware and software experience with robots, sensors, and data collection systems
- Strong research ability in ML/robotics and experience running reproducible experiments
- Experience with simulation, real-to-sim-to-real workflows, and large-scale datasets
- Proficiency in programming for ML and robotics (Python, simulation frameworks, ROS)
- Ability to collaborate across engineering and research teams and communicate findings clearly
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on robotic foundation models, vision-language-action models, reinforcement learning, and real-to-sim-to-real methods
- Design, implement, and evaluate models for dexterous manipulation, grasping, and whole-body humanoid control
- Set up and maintain robot hardware, hands, arms, humanoids, sensors, and teleoperation systems for data collection
- Collaborate with research scientists and interns to produce high-quality experiments and publishable results
- Integrate research improvements into simulation and tooling to deliver value to customers and programs
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field (minimum)
- Master's or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, robotics, or closely related field preferred
