FL114: Senior Research Associate, Discovery Biology
Skills
- Extensive mammalian cell culture experience including primary cell culture
- Proficiency with DNA/RNA/protein isolation and qPCR
- Experience with gene silencing/editing methods (siRNA, CRISPR, TALEN)
- Familiarity with immunoassays (ELISA/Luminex), western blot, and flow cytometry
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze in vitro biology experiments for target validation and epigenetic controller evaluation
- Maintain and handle primary human/mouse cells and established mammalian cell lines
- Perform downstream analyses including qPCR, western blot, ELISA and related assays
- Execute gene perturbation experiments (siRNA, CRISPR/TALEN) and flow cytometry-based assays
- Document experimental design, protocols, raw data, and analyzed results in accurate laboratory records
- Support day-to-day lab operations including equipment maintenance, reagent tracking, ordering, and receiving
Education
- BS or MS in Cell or Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
- Industry laboratory experience strongly preferred
- 3+ years of relevant hands-on laboratory experience
