Skills
- Integrate GNSS, INS, vision, and other navigation technologies into automated systems
- Design end-to-end PNT architectures for robustness in contested or degraded environments
- Develop and implement Kalman and modern filtering techniques
- Develop pose estimation algorithms and vision-based navigation solutions
- Perform INS test and evaluation and sensor characterization
- Write production-quality code in C++ and Python
- Evaluate and integrate alternative PNT technologies (non-GNSS sources)
- Collaborate with customers and systems teams for subsystem integration
Responsibilities
- Develop PNT architectures and strategies to ensure reliable PNT access in adverse and denied environments
- Investigate and integrate advanced PNT sources and technologies into air, ground, maritime, and space applications
- Test, evaluate, and characterize PNT sensors to inform system configurations and trade studies
- Contribute to design reviews, safety assessments, and system documentation
- Support GNC teams with integration of advanced PNT technologies into automated systems
- Work with customers and cross-functional teams to integrate subsystems into larger platforms
Education
- MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Strong academic background in navigation, controls, estimation, or related disciplines
