Acceptance Test Procedure Technician
Skills
- 2+ years performing ATP
- Proficiency with command line and basic Linux operations
- Basic networking skills including setting and changing IP addresses
- Experience using test equipment and capturing/analyzing test logs
- Troubleshooting software, hardware, and communication issues
- Basic electro-mechanical systems familiarity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable with frequent travel and hands-on test environments
- U.S. Person eligibility for export-controlled access
Responsibilities
- Execute acceptance test procedures on systems and components according to established criteria
- Travel approximately 50% of the time to perform on-site testing (roughly one week on / one week off)
- Document test setups, procedures, results, and any discrepancies in test reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine test procedures and acceptance criteria
- Troubleshoot and diagnose software, network, and hardware issues during testing
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and maintain proper calibration of test equipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback for design improvements
- Perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 35 pounds consistently
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certificate, associate degree, or relevant vocational training preferred
