Skills
- Proven program and project management for complex technical systems throughout the full product lifecycle.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar aerospace or defense programs to on-time, on-budget completion.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and productization for aerospace/defense hardware.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and executive stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Jira.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple cross-functional teams through development, testing, and full-rate production of rocket motor systems.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of Project Managers to ensure consistent program execution and delivery.
- Own program strategy, schedule, budget, risk posture, and financial outcomes across the portfolio.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Sales to align technical roadmaps with program objectives.
- Serve as primary customer-facing representative for program status, contractual deliverables, and proposals.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, procurement, and supplier relationships to meet quality and schedule targets.
- Develop lightweight processes, metrics, and tools for planning, scope control, risk management, and customer communication.
- Present program status, forecasts, and risks to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced technical degree is beneficial but not required.
