Sr. Firmware Engineer
Skills
- Strong embedded C/C++ or Rust programming ability
- Experience with microcontrollers and sensor integration
- Firmware development in bare-metal and/or RTOS environments
- Proven debugging skills across hardware and firmware boundaries
- Familiarity with common bus protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART/RS232, Ethernet, USB)
Responsibilities
- Develop low-level firmware and device drivers for microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Integrate analog and digital sensors and implement system-level features
- Architect and maintain scalable embedded codebases (bare-metal and RTOS)
- Debug cross-domain issues spanning electrical, firmware, and higher-level software
- Review schematics and collaborate closely with electrical and systems engineering teams
- Perform board bring-up, hardware validation, and test automation for firmware
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- Relevant practical experience in embedded firmware development
