- Hands-on experience with manufacturing test and product sustainment
- Programming for data acquisition and processing (MATLAB, Python)
- Test automation and automated report generation
- Root cause analysis for hardware, software, and firmware issues
- Experience integrating electrical, opto-mechanical, and firmware systems
- Familiarity with test equipment: power supplies, thermal chambers, scopes, DAQ
- Strong verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Own and execute production test activities and test flow to ensure product acceptance
- Troubleshoot complex infrared/opto-mechanical/electronic issues during testing
- Develop and maintain automated test software, data analytics, and report generation
- Create clear MES test work instructions and train technicians on procedures and equipment
- Build a library of failure modes with troubleshooting guides for rapid resolution
- Perform root cause analysis (RCCA) on failures and recommend corrective actions
- Support returns, failure analysis, and collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams
- Contribute to early-stage (NPI) test design and optimize test strategies for efficiency
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment and support continuous improvement initiatives
Education
- Bachelor's in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
