Skills
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
- 3–7 years of project/program management experience in robotics, consumer products, aerospace, or automotive
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Project and/or JIRA
- Experience building, tracking, and reporting project budgets and spend profiles
- Prior experience managing BOMs and component need dates
- Experience managing complete systems development lifecycle
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to travel ~25% (domestic and international)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Support and/or manage development efforts across multiple technology areas and product teams within the Maritime ecosystem.
- Gather, document, and maintain requirements and support validation testing for IRAD efforts and new capability campaigns.
- Work closely with product leaders to distill requirements and prioritize delivery of high-value capabilities.
- Manage budgets and schedules for internal R&D efforts, tracking labor, materials, ODCs, and commitments.
- Manage risk and opportunities across a portfolio of new technology development areas.
- Derive and maintain technology roadmaps that serve multiple products and applications.
- Develop procedures, processes, and workflows for quarterly and annual planning and capability insertion.
- Plan, budget, and sequence efforts to onboard new capabilities and manage subsystem requirements.
- Run design reviews, manage schedules and resources, and lead routine executive briefings on program progress.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in an engineering field (required)
- Formal project management training or certification (preferred)
