Responsibilities
- Perform CAD design activities for mechanical components (cases, nozzles, grains, igniters, safety components).
- Conduct finite element analysis for structural and thermal systems and document results.
- Generate, review, and release engineering drawings and product definition.
- Produce technical reports and presentations to document analysis and design decisions.
- Present designs and analysis in peer and customer design reviews.
- Support prototyping, manufacturing, and test operations at company and supplier facilities.
- Own development of critical subsystems from concept through production and handoff.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar field
- Relevant coursework or practical experience in stress/thermal analysis and CAD/FEA tools
