Facilities Coordinator
Skills
- 2+ years supporting manufacturing or industrial facilities (aerospace/defense/automotive preferred)
- Technical training in plant engineering, maintenance, or comparable experience
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Experience managing ESH/safety programs in a facility
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining forklifts, aerial lifts, and gantry cranes/hoists
- Project and vendor management skills for capital projects and contractor coordination
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail capabilities
- Independent, outcome-oriented work style with low ego and high ownership
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across industrial spaces including production, manufacturing, and test support
- Scope mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work as facilities evolve
- Project manage capital improvement projects from pre-construction and budgeting through execution and handover
- Plan and coordinate equipment moves with stakeholders to ensure utilities and workflows are in place
- Collaborate with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) to maintain regulatory compliance
- Resolve workplace activities and maintenance issues across two warehouses
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance of fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, and general utilities
- Build and manage a network of contractors and service providers
- Support R&D and production teams with facilities-related needs and floor plan ownership
- Present a professional, customer-focused image and contribute to a can-do culture
Education
- Technical training in plant engineering, facilities maintenance, or equivalent professional experience
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational certificate, associate's degree, or higher preferred
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credentials are a plus
