Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering for ISDs and ESADs including writing and allocating requirements
- Design safety-critical circuitry and generate schematics and simulations
- Perform PCB layout using Altium Designer and create manufacturable designs
- Build, test, and iterate prototype ISDs and ESADs including environmental testing
- Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and test engineers to integrate electrical designs
- Specify and be responsible for verification and environmental qualification testing
- Travel to customer reviews, safety board reviews, and test locations as required
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Equivalent technical experience considered
