COMSEC Manager, Intelligence Systems

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company delivering advanced autonomy, AI, sensor fusion, and networking capabilities to U.S. and allied customers. The Intelligence Systems (AIS) team seeks a Comsec Manager to own day-to-day communications security across multiple classification levels: drafting and implementing COMSEC policies, maintaining keying material custody and accounting, conducting inventories and inspections, training personnel, and ensuring compliance with applicable ICDs/JAFANs/DOD guidance.

Skills

Familiarity with COMSEC requirements, acquisition, maintenance, operations, and disposition of COMSEC equipment.
Completion of TRADOC-approved Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) course and COMSEC Account Manager Course (CAMC).
Knowledge of ICDs, JAFANs, DoD manuals, and other governing security policy documents.
Experience with Modern Fill Devices (MFD) or Simple Key Loader (SKL).
Eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) access and ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret SCI clearance.
2-4 years of experience in a Comsec Manager role.
Experience with COMSEC systems/tools such as CSLA, ISSPA, CARS, KOA agents is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage receipt, custody, transfer, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction/disposition of COMSEC keying material across classification levels.
Conduct COMSEC inventories and inspections for secure equipment (e.g., STE) and classified keying material and report discrepancies to government customers.
Install secure telephone equipment and coordinate delivery of encryption devices and keying material to IT specialists supporting classified networks.
Administer Top Secret inventory and document control programs to account for COMSEC equipment and materials.
Draft, implement, and review COMSEC policies, procedures, and security practices to ensure compliance with ICDs/JAFANs and DoD manuals.
Train personnel on COMSEC procedures and proper use of related equipment.
Courier classified materials and author receipts; maintain chain-of-custody documentation.
Coordinate physical security accreditation with Program Security Officers for supported facilities.
Support program-level COMSEC evaluations and continuous improvement of COMSEC program processes.
Travel 20-40% to support multiple geographic locations and stakeholder engagements.

Education

TRADOC KMI course completion
COMSEC Account Manager Course (CAMC) completion
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or military training preferred
Eligibility to obtain and maintain Top Secret SCI clearance
