Skills
- Experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting air-gapped classified IT systems.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Windows workstations, and Linux administration.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware) and container platforms (Podman).
- Familiarity with DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, and RMF concepts.
- Automation experience in air-gapped environments; experience with Ansible preferred.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and explain technical topics to non-technical users.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier IT support for classified systems and users.
- Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air-gapped classified IT systems (Windows and Linux).
- Perform system security hardening following DISA STIGs, NIST 800-53, and RMF guidance.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstations, Windows servers, and Linux OSes.
- Support virtualization and container platforms (e.g., VMware, Podman) and maintain related infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user-facing instructional materials.
- Provide on-call, on-site support per scheduled rotations.
- Collaborate with Information Assurance/Security teams to ensure compliance and system integrity.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
