- Operational experience in Managed Detection and Response (MDR)
- Familiarity with EDR tools and telemetry analysis
- Incident response and threat investigation skills
- Detector/detection engineering and tuning

- Basic automation/orchestration knowledge
- Comfortable working in a 24/7 operations environment
Responsibilities
- Analyze EDR telemetry, alerts, and log sources across endpoint, identity, SIEM, and cloud/SaaS domains
- Investigate and respond to incidents, documenting findings and remediation steps
- Publish concise threat reports and indicators for customers
- Research, create, and tune detection logic and detectors
- Improve CIRT workflows through orchestration and automation
- Work with an assigned SkillBridge mentor on career-transition activities (resume reviews, mock interviews, career coaching)
Education
- No specific civilian degree required; SkillBridge eligibility (active service requirements) is mandatory
- Unit commander approval and signed MOU before start
