Helpdesk Technician Level II (Fri-Tues schedule)
Skills
- Strong remote troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux
- Microsoft 365 and Azure administration experience
- Active Directory and Group Policy proficiency
- Familiarity with RMM tools and helpdesk ticketing systems (ConnectWise preferred)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN) and device configuration
- Customer-focused communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with endpoint protection and common security technologies
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional remote customer support in a managed services environment (Friday–Tuesday shift, 8am–5pm local time)
- Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, software, and cloud service issues
- Support desktop and server OS (Windows, macOS, Linux) and Microsoft 365/Azure services
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure Entra ID tasks
- Manage networking devices including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VPNs
- Support line-of-business applications, backups, and disaster recovery processes
- Manage mobile devices and MDM/MAM solutions (Intune, Autopilot)
- Deploy and maintain security tools, agents, and monitoring solutions
- Escalate and provide Level II support for Level I helpdesk staff
- Onboard/offboard users and client systems, create and maintain documentation
- Record time and maintain ticket notes in the helpdesk ticketing system
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to remediate client issues
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
