The Enterprise Digital Experiences Team (EDX) is responsible for the product management and design of American Express’ proprietary digital products, Amex Mobile App,  americanexpress.com, Amex Offers and Customer Personalization.

Role description:

The Guest experiences & capabilities team (Global Navigation, Homepage, One CMS and iForms) is looking for a dynamic Senior Manager - Digital Product Management to lead the development and strategy of the Homepage (americanexpress.com) across 27 proprietary markets.

You will own one of the company’s most visible digital products with high volume of traffic and engagement. The Homepage represents the Amex brand and its values for millions of users, drives engagement towards key digital experiences, and plays a crucial growth in enterprise growth.   

You will collaborate with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Analytics, UX Research, Design teams across the Enterprise to communicate and drive a high impact product roadmap. You will also develop partnerships across the organization to support their needs and drive business outcomes. 

How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Define & own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with cross-functional teams. 
  • Demonstrate a product mindset, owning the full product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery, following an iterative approach. 
  • Understand and communicate complex technical information clearly to different audiences.
  • Drive technical interoperability, to enable scalable & flexible solutions for the Enterprise. 
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and the scrum master to deliver solutions efficiently.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise to influence and drive alignment.  
  • Lead a continuous product discovery to identify & prioritize untapped opportunities to delight users and deliver value for the business.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve KPIs.
  • Partner with the analytics team to improve Homepage’s tracking data quality, monitor and report on KPIs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience as a digital product owner/manager with a focus on user-facing web technology.
  • Excellent communication skills. You can communicate effectively to diverse audiences from all sides of the business and to senior leadership teams. 
  • Empathetic product leader, with proven success at solving user problems while delivering value for the business.
  • You can use data to tell a story, make decisions quickly, and rally others around your vision for the product.
  • Ability to interpret consumer insights and trends into actual features and functionality.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes while maintaining clear prioritization
  • High performer with proven success in driving solid product solutions from ambiguity and leading the scrum team to deliver technically complex projects.
  • A passion for all things digital, inside and outside of work.
  • Can lead with an external perspective, you can challenge the status quo or existing processes to improve the delivery process. 
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Preferred:

  • Experience driving front-end, user facing experience for high traffic digital assets.
  • Experience running A/B tests, awareness of the process around it (analytics tracking, compliance approval, stakeholders management).
  • Experience with Analytics platform like Adobe, Content Square, Nvision

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
