- Proven program/project management for complex, cross-functional programs
- Direct localization experience with TMS, CAT tools, CMS and machine translation workflows
- Vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management experience
- Working knowledge of internationalization (i18n) and globalization (g11n) best practices
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute multiple concurrent initiatives across time zones
- Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder influence skills
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements across international markets
Responsibilities
- Define and execute localization strategy aligned to international expansion roadmap and success metrics
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with product, engineering, legal, marketing, and customer ops to launch localized experiences
- Manage localization tools, technology platforms (TMS, CAT tools) and third-party vendors, setting quality standards
- Coordinate with legal, risk, and compliance to ensure local regulatory readiness for content and product elements
- Advocate for cultural and linguistic appropriateness across tone, messaging, and design for each locale
- Identify and implement process and tooling improvements to increase efficiency and scalability
- Develop and manage localization budgets tied to maintenance and market expansion
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, International Business, Computer Science, or related field
