We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead two critical teams, our Developer Platform and Scout teams. These are the core tools that enable our integration ecosystem to grow, scale, and evolve—with less manual effort and more intelligence.
In this role, you’ll shape how developers (internal and external) build and maintain integrations on Zapier. You’ll own proven, widely used platform capabilities—and pair them with new AI-powered tools that help authors move faster, avoid breakage, and automate more of the build lifecycle. Your work will make integration development easier, smarter, and 10x more scalable.
If you’re excited by developer platforms, shipping with engineers, and building the tools that power the rest of the product, you’ll love this role.
Technically fluent. You’ve been an engineer or worked closely with developer products. You’re comfortable discussing APIs, SDKs, and tooling trade-offs with engineering.
Energized by platform impact. You thrive when success means empowering thousands of integration builders, both internal engineers and external partners, to move faster and build better.
Experienced with mature products. You know how to navigate the complexity of long-lived platforms, balancing incremental improvement with bold upgrades while maintaining reliability for a massive existing ecosystem.
A natural influencer. You can get cross-functional teams and stakeholders to buy in, align on what’s best for the entire integration ecosystem, and build together.
Comfortable with the innovation spectrum. You can seamlessly move between optimizing proven platform tools and pioneering experimental AI workflows, understanding how they complement each other in service of the same mission.
Product-minded platform thinker. You excel at understanding how internal products evolve and translating those needs into upstream platform capabilities, preventing downstream teams from building workarounds for problems better solved at the platform level.
Own the complete integration development lifecycle by evolving Zapier’s Developer Platform (improving integration tooling, enabling partner-owned integration maintenance, reducing bugs) while simultaneously pioneering AI-powered development acceleration through Scout.
Drive a unified product vision that connects mature platform capabilities with emerging AI tools, ensuring new innovations enhance rather than fragment the developer experience.
Partner with engineering to deliver reliable, scalable systems that serve both immediate platform needs and long-term ecosystem automation goals.
Rally other squads around shared platform goals, selling the vision of intelligent, self-improving integration tooling, building consensus, and driving collaborative delivery.
Translate complex technical opportunities into compelling product cases that demonstrate how platform stability and AI innovation create compound value for our 8,000+ app ecosystem.
Define success metrics across the full spectrum—from platform reliability and developer productivity to AI automation effectiveness—and adapt roadmaps to ensure maximum impact.
Act as the primary liaison between internal product teams and the Developer Platform, proactively identifying when multiple teams are solving similar problems independently and consolidating those solutions into shared platform capabilities.
At Zapier, we believe that diverse perspectives and experiences make us better, which is why we have a non-standard application process designed to promote inclusion and equity. We're looking for the best fit for each of our roles, regardless of the type of companies in your background, so we encourage you to apply even if your skills and experiences don’t exactly match the job description. All we ask is that you answer a few in-depth questions in our application that would typically be asked at the start of an interview process. This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.
Education is not a requirement for our roles; however, if you receive an offer, you will need to include your most recent educational experience as part of our background check process.
After you apply, you are going to hear back from us—even if we don’t see an immediate fit with our team. In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application. We know we’ll make mistakes from time to time, so if you ever have questions about where you stand or about the process, just ask your recruiter!
