Responsibilities: Engage and build relationships with employers, administer statewide work-based learning programs, provide training and support to stakeholders, and collaborate with regional partners to increase opportunities.
Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational, and collaborative skills; experience with CRM systems and a strong understanding of work-based learning or career and technical education strongly preferred.
Qualifications: 2+ years in employer engagement, outreach, or education coordination, with a preferred background in work-based learning frameworks or Wisconsin's education initiatives.
Location: Remote in Wisconsin, USA
Compensation: $65000 - $90000 / Annually
You are a highly driven individual with integrity, strong initiative, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You are naturally curious, energized by outreach, and genuinely enjoy getting to know people by bringing empathy, humor, and authenticity into every conversation. You thrive when something new is being built and you enjoy contributing to how a program grows over time.
For the first time, Wisconsin will have a statewide system that connects employers and schools to create meaningful student experiences. You will be central to making this vision real, ensuring employers feel supported, educators have access to high-quality opportunities, and students gain the work-based learning (WBL) experiences that prepare them for their futures.
You are passionate about cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and education stakeholders. You see yourself as a connector who bridges K-12 education and industry to create valuable opportunities for students. You are comfortable taking the lead, steering conversations, and helping partners understand both the value and the logistics of high-quality WBL experiences.
Working with Xello teams and statewide partners, you will encourage Wisconsin employers to participate in career-based and WBL programs and support educators in bringing these opportunities to life. You will articulate the value of WBL for local communities, help ensure employer needs are met, and play a critical role in administering Wisconsin's new statewide WBL system.
This role will be based remotely in Wisconsin, USA.
