Responsibilities: You will write and edit manuscripts, develop TOCs, create scope and sequence plans, and ensure material meets ELA standards and customer needs, while overseeing freelancers and participating in market research.
Skills: Proficient in Adobe, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with excellent communication skills, and ability in instructional design and content development for digital products.
Qualifications: Requires a minimum of 5 years in curriculum development; a BA or higher in Literature is a must, with specialized knowledge in subgenres of literature preferred.

SUMMARY
The Senior Editor has extensive knowledge of literature and experience developing materials that satisfy ELA standards. The Senior Editor uses that knowledge and experience to help develop competitive offerings for core programs, including student and teacher editions.
The Senior Editor works with their direct supervisor to ensure that the evolving product meets the objectives of the plan, its budget, and its schedule. They also manage in-house and freelance staff on a limited basis to complete assigned projects.
