Security Specialist

Voyager Technologies is a defense, national security, and space technology company building mission-critical, classified capabilities to advance national security and space operations. We are looking for a Security Specialist to design, build, and sustain classified environments and secure infrastructure, lead cross-functional security initiatives, and partner with government and industry stakeholders to ensure compliance while enabling rapid mission delivery.

Skills

Deep understanding of U.S. government security regulations and contracting (NISPOM, ITAR, DFARS).
Experience designing and operating classified networks and facilities.
Knowledge of information assurance and industrial security practices.
Facility security and physical security design and implementation.
Experience with security integration during M&A and systems consolidation.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Program and portfolio management for security and infrastructure projects.
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance (eligibility required).

Responsibilities

Lead engagement with government and industry security and policy professionals to align security posture with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Design and sustain Voyager’s classified capabilities architecture to enable secure, scalable infrastructure and rapid facility stand-up.
Lead buildout and operationalization of classified environments, including secure networks and physical spaces for engineering and test activities.
Translate evolving security requirements into actionable plans and collaborate with business leadership to anticipate operational needs.
Develop and manage a cross-country portfolio of classified operations and align facility investments with long-term mission goals.
Drive secure facility expansion planning balancing regulatory compliance, agility, and operational resilience.
Integrate security infrastructure during M&A activity to align people, systems, processes, and technologies.
Lead cross-functional initiatives across industrial security, information assurance, finance, facilities, and enterprise infrastructure.
Ensure all operations meet government security regulations and contracting requirements while enabling speed and innovation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Security, Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Relevant professional security certifications preferred (CISSP, CPP, CAP).
US citizenship or other status permitting required export control authorizations (per ITAR).
