VP, Business Operations is a senior team member responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of a company's operational functions, ensuring they align with strategic goals and drive efficiency. The VP, Business Operations will be tasked with improving the workflow experience for our internal teams so we can better deliver products and services to internal and external customers.
The Business Operations Department serves as the strategic backbone of the organization, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and scalable functioning of all business-critical activities. This department plays a pivotal role in driving cross-functional alignment, operational efficiency, and performance optimization across the company.
Strategic Planning & Implementation: Develop and implement operational plans and policies to support the company's overall objectives.
Operational Oversight: Collaborate with department heads to manage the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Process Improvement: Identify, recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Change Management: Establish alignment on change and ensure successful adoption of new policies and procedures to minimize disruption
Budget Management: Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure financial accountability.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential operational risks.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) analyzing operational efficiency and employee effectiveness and provide regular performance updates to senior management.
Automation and Innovation: Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends to lend to overall operation efficiencies of the business
10-12 years of relevant experience leading business operations at small to midsize companies
Strong Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
Strategic Thinking and Planning: Ability to develop and implement long-term operational strategies.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and resolve operational issues.

The salary range for this position as performed outside of New York City may vary.The actual pay will be at Vistar Media’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
