Senior Sales Director

Virtru is a data-centric security company building an open platform and applications that enable secure sharing and collaboration. The Senior Sales Director will be an individual contributor responsible for driving enterprise adoption across a portfolio of large accounts, expanding revenue, and building executive-level relationships while partnering closely with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and channel partners.

Skills

  • Proven enterprise field sales experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Experience selling security software or data-centric security solutions
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence CXO-level stakeholders
  • Consultative selling and account planning expertise
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong)
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business value

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and market penetration across assigned enterprise accounts
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas through proactive pipeline generation and opportunity management
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and CXO-level stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Partner Alliances to deliver integrated solutions
  • Provide accurate forecasting and detailed business plans for each account; manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Partner with Marketing on account-based campaigns, events, and targeted outreach
  • Evangelize Virtru products, publicize customer success stories, and provide product feedback to internal teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate activity and opportunity records in Salesforce and related sales tools (Outreach, Gong, etc.)
  • Travel as needed (<25%) to meet with customers and partners

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant professional certifications or continued learning in sales/security are a plus
