Strategic Account Manager

First Connect Insurance Services is a digital platform giving independent insurance agents access to 120+ U.S. carriers and consumer-grade tools to grow their businesses. We are hiring a Strategic Account Manager to oversee client relationships, drive regional growth across the Northeast, train agency staff, and increase production with appointed carriers through data-driven insights and hands-on support.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of P&C insurance products and markets
  • Proven account management and territory growth experience
  • Experience training and developing agency staff
  • Strong sales and business development skills
  • Data-driven decision making and reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with carrier appointment processes and commission structures
  • Proficiency with CRM and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned regional clients and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain long-term agency relationships and strengthen client satisfaction.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct individual and regional agent training sessions.
  • Achieve and exceed regional sales and revenue targets through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate with sales to develop and execute regional market strategies.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and use data analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate monthly internal meetings to address agent touchpoints and carrier updates.
  • Collect and communicate agent feedback to internal teams to improve products and services.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to agency production and recommend appointment/dismissal actions.
  • Conduct on-site marketing visits and quarterly carrier evaluations including production and incentive recommendations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of carrier markets, products, commission structures, and appointments.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
