Outside Sales Representative / Restaurant Specialist (Alexandria, Virginia)

SpotOn provides modern POS, payments, and integrated software solutions for restaurants and small businesses. They're seeking a motivated Hospitality Specialist to represent SpotOn in the Alexandria territory, build relationships with local restaurant and SMB owners, manage the full sales cycle, and drive adoption of SpotOn's product suite.

Skills

  • Proven B2B sales skills focused on SMBs and restaurant owners
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting capabilities
  • Territory buildout and account management experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce proficiency is a plus)
  • Comfort learning and demonstrating technology solutions
  • Ability to manage pipelines and meet metric-driven goals

Responsibilities

  • Represent SpotOn locally and promote the full product suite to restaurants and small businesses
  • Prospect, build relationships, and sign new merchants across an assigned territory
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing and onboarding
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets (software, POS hardware, and payments)
  • Coordinate with Sales Support and internal teams to ensure customer success and retention
  • Travel frequently to client sites within the designated geographic territory

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • College degree preferred but not required
