Responsibilities
- Assist planning and execution of business development from opportunity identification through completion
- Identify and secure renewable power customers and manage the prospect pipeline
- Support deal sourcing, evaluation and M&A opportunities with senior management
- Coordinate internal teams and external consultants to validate project viability
- Participate in project due diligence and liaison with financial analysis teams on deal structure
- Establish and manage detailed schedules, milestones and routine progress reporting
- Prepare presentations and updates for senior management
- Develop and maintain industry, customer and government relationships
- Monitor market, regulatory and competitor activity and gather competitive intelligence
- Prepare project budgets and support budget reviews
- Negotiate and obtain necessary permits and interconnection agreements
- Coordinate contract term negotiations across finance, engineering, procurement and legal
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and ethics
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business or related field (required)
- Advanced degree in relevant discipline preferred but not required
