Senior Trainer

Description

Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Trainer to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida.

 

Responsibilities:

• Delivers instructor-led training sessions (in-person and virtual) to diverse audiences
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials, manuals, guides, and job aid
• Conduct training needs assessments and adjust content accordingly
• Coordinate with program teams and SMEs to ensure accurate and effective content
• Support onboarding training for new hires and refresher training for existing staff
• Track training attendance, completion, and effectiveness using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support as needed
• Ensure training materials are compliant with federal and DoD standards, including Section 508       

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, HR or related field
• 10+ years of experience as a trainer, instructor, or facilitator in professional environment  
• Experience with DoD or federal training programs 
• Strong understanding of adult learning principle and instructional best practices 
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office, virtual meeting platforms and LMS tools    

Desired:

• Master’s degree in related field 
• Experience with e-learning tools like Articulate, Adode Captive or Camtasia 
• Familiarity with DoD 8140/8570 training requirements  
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility and SCROM-compliant courseware 
• CompTIA CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer)
• ATD Master Trainer
• Project Management Professional   

Clearance:

• Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Certification:

• DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
• CompTIA Security+ CE
