Skills
- Strong programming experience in at least two of: Python, Go, Bash
- Deep understanding of low-level Linux operating system fundamentals
- Familiarity with cryptography fundamentals and secure update concepts
- Experience producing well-documented, test-covered system software
- Comfort working in remote and onsite distributed engineering environments
- Ability to support CI/CD, test automation, and virtual test ranges (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software frameworks for reproducible configuration and deployment of Linux operating systems for enterprise systems
- Design, implement, and test system-critical software with comprehensive documentation and automated tests
- Create and maintain secure and reliable field update mechanisms for all software components
- Mature R&D prototypes into operational, fieldable solutions suitable for production deployment
- Develop APIs and interfaces bridging software and hardware layers
- Apply scalable, modular design methodologies for embedded platforms
- Participate in technical exchanges with transition partners, stakeholders, and customers
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (required)
- Graduate degree in a related field is preferred but not required
