Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a technical partnerships strategy aligned to Twilio’s Horizon 3 innovation priorities.
- Proactively scout, evaluate, and engage startups, research labs, emerging platforms, and technology leaders.
- Perform technical diligence to assess feasibility, integration potential, and commercial value of prospective partners.
- Cultivate and manage trusted relationships with external partners (startups, open source projects, universities).
- Drive joint proofs‑of‑concepts, co‑investment pilots, and complex integrations to validate future bets.
- Synthesize market and technology intelligence and provide recommendations for partnership and investment decisions.
- Represent Twilio at industry events and forums to evangelize vision and recruit partners.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
