Effective Schools Solutions (ESS) provides in-person mental health and behavioral support programs to help high risk students reach their full potential. They deliver in-person, evidence-based, comprehensive clinical programming directly within K-12 schools.

They seek a high energy and results-driven individual who wants to be part of a company that has an incredible track record of success and growth and a strong customer base in Ohio and Michigan. Key to success in this role is a passion for education, strong communication and presentation skills, and an extensive background and understanding of the K-12 educational landscape.

Major Responsibilities

  • Grow key territory of new business and build a strong pipeline of new, qualified prospects across a defined territory (90%)
  • Nurture and grow existing accounts across a defined territory (10%)
  • Meet and exceed sales quota and all activity goals as set by the management team
  • Leverage company's sales methodology and make it your own
  • Deliver presentations, both virtually and in-person, to demonstrate how ESS’ solutions can provide the best possible educational experience for students
  • Speak knowledgeably about ESS programs/differentiate from competitors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years’ experience selling into K-12 (complex, solution-based sales) at the district level, or experience as a Superintendent or Special Education Director
  • Understanding of the special education landscape a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, allocate and track time across a large set of targets
  • Ability to prospect, present, and close sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intellectual agility; high integrity
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce) a must
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Live in Ohio
