Project Engineer II (LACCD PMP)

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management across major public sector agencies. We support large-scale capital programs with a focus on quality, integrity, and technical excellence.

We are looking for a Project Engineer II to join our team. The Project Engineer II provides technical, analytical, and coordination support to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Department within the Los Angeles Community College District’s Program Management Office. This role works closely with PMO staff and College Project Teams (CPT) to support audits, SOP compliance, KPIs, field verification, and reporting across active construction projects.

*Salary Range: $95K/Year-$110K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the QAQC Department with technical coordination and field verification.
  • Conduct site walks to verify compliance with KPIs, SOPs, and QAQC metrics.
  • Participate in—and occasionally lead—QAQC and project coordination meetings.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and monthly project status updates.
  • Review construction documents, including change orders, field orders, and contracts.
  • Maintain and update trending reports (RFIs, CCDs) and assist in developing new tracking tools.
  • Support CPT/PMO teams with audits, process improvements, and SOP gap analysis.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of recent experience in project or construction-related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
    (or equivalent experience in lieu of degree).
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
