- Effective oral and written communication for executive and council-level briefings

Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop staff, including assigning work, conducting evaluations, training, and personnel actions
- Maintain and manage inventory of city-owned property held in trust following tax foreclosure, including upkeep, sealed bid sales, leasing and disposition activities
- Facilitate acquisition, abandonment and disposition of real property interests to support city capital improvement projects
- Oversee timely delivery of land rights required for infrastructure projects and participate in public-private property ventures
- Prepare and deliver clear oral and written communications to senior management and City Council on real property matters
- Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders and legal counsel on property transactions and agreements
- Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and applicable laws governing municipal property
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Real Estate or related field required
- Candidates with equivalent or greater relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
