Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Infrastructure Plan Review Center (IPRC), Small-Scale Infrastructure Program, and Water sections.
- Supervise engineers and technicians, including hiring, performance evaluations, training, and discipline.
- Oversee plan review, contract administration, and delivery of developer-driven public infrastructure projects.
- Develop, administer, and monitor section budgets; forecast staffing and resource needs and approve expenditures.
- Represent the department at Pre-Development Conferences, Development Advisory Committee (DAC) meetings, and public forums.
- Coordinate activities with other city departments, external agencies, developers, and the public; respond to stakeholder questions and requests.
- Ensure compliance with municipal and regulatory requirements related to public infrastructure projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, landscape architecture, planning, public administration, business administration, project/program management, or related field required
- Candidates without the degree may be considered with substantially more relevant experience
