Salary: $92,664 – $139,006/year (commensurate with experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Available case by case
Relocation Assistance: Available case by case

Job Description
Overview:
A leading healthcare system in Kingwood is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Department Director to provide leadership and operational oversight for a high-volume, fast-paced pediatric ER. The role includes management of a 10-bed pediatric emergency department handling approximately 40,000 visits annually. This position reports to the VP of Emergency Services and manages a team of Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) and 42 FTEs.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage operations of the Pediatric Emergency Department.
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement strategies to support departmental growth.
Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a teaching-focused environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required.
Minimum 3 years of recent leadership experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department within an acute care hospital – Required.
Strong record of team leadership and achieving performance goals.
