Tempo is a layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoins and real-world payments, born from Stripe’s experience in global payments and Paradigm’s expertise in crypto tech.
Tempo’s payment-first design provides a scalable, low-cost, predictable backbone that meets the needs of high-volume payment use cases. Our goal is to move money reliably, cheaply, and at scale. Our north star is simplicity for users: fintechs, traditional banks, merchants, platforms, and anyone else looking to move their payments into the 21st century.
We're building Tempo with design partners who are global leaders in AI, e-commerce, and financial services: Anthropic, Coupang, Deutsche Bank, DoorDash, Mercury, Nubank, OpenAI, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, Visa, and more.
We’re a team of crypto-optimists, building the infrastructure needed to bring real, substantial economic flows on-chain. Our team primarily works in-person out of our San Francisco and NYC offices. We like to move fast and swing for the fences — join us!
The Role
As one of Tempo’s early Product Managers, you’ll define and scale the products that make Tempo’s blockchain useful and intuitive — from wallets and explorers to payments experiences and ecosystem integrations. You’ll partner with design, engineering, and partnerships to translate user needs into clear, compelling products that bridge the gap between blockchain infrastructure and real-world applications.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role ideal for a PM who thrives on execution, collaboration, and building products that make complex systems simple for users.
Responsibilities
Define and execute product strategy for user-facing surfaces including wallets, dashboards, explorers, and payments tools.
Work closely with design and engineering to translate business and user requirements into intuitive, polished product experiences.
Partner with ecosystem and partnerships teams to launch integrations and grow adoption across fintech, commerce, and payments use cases.
Drive the roadmap for public-facing interfaces and developer onboarding flows, balancing usability, speed, and reliability.
Establish and track success metrics around adoption, retention, and user engagement.
Lead user research and feedback loops to inform prioritization and iteration.
Collaborate with the marketing and growth teams to craft positioning, launch plans, and go-to-market materials.
Communicate product goals, timelines, and impact clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications
5–7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally across fintech, payments, or platform products.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver user-facing products end-to-end.
Strong understanding of product design, UX principles, and data-informed decision making.
Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into simple, user-centered experiences.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business, design, and engineering teams.
Experience setting and tracking product metrics and using them to guide decisions.
Entrepreneurial mindset, strong ownership, and comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
Nice-to-Have
Familiarity with blockchain or Web3 concepts (wallets, stablecoins, payments, explorers).
Experience with B2B or developer-adjacent products (e.g., APIs, dashboards, or partner platforms).
Prior experience in fintech, payments, or digital asset infrastructure.
Comfort working across both user experience and business-facing domains (from UI to integrations).
