Job Description

The Global Commercial Effectiveness Lead is responsible for driving global commercial excellence through sales process optimization, go-to-market strategy design, CRM and digital enablement, incentive programs, and data-driven performance management.

Duties:

  • Prioritize Sales Effectiveness to drive high-value activities and enable excellence in demand creation to drive sustainable growth.
  • Implement data-based territory planning to optimize coverage and improve customer service levels.
  • Ensure adoption of best-in-class sales methodologies to drive high-value activities and enable excellence in demand creation to drive sustainable growth.
  • Build a global network of commercial excellence champions to share best practices.
  • Develop and maintain global sales methodologies, playbooks, and SOPs to ensure consistency.
  • Partner with global and regional leaders on Go-To-Market strategies, including segmentation, coverage models, and transformation initiatives.
  • Support and provide expertise on commercial projects that enable efficiency, alignment, and growth.
  • Partner with regional leaders, marketing, product management, IT and finance teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial effectiveness, sales operations, or GTM strategy within a global organization (agriculture/life sciences preferred).
  • Proven success in sales enablement, CRM implementation (Salesforce preferred), and digital transformation.
  • Strong background in change management and complex project leadership.
  • Deep understanding of data analytics, performance measurement, and financial drivers.
