Skills
- Expertise in PDK development and EDA tools like Cadence AWR and ADS.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages including Python, Visual Basic, and C++.
- Strong understanding of design rule manuals and model validation techniques.
- Experience with EM simulation tools such as Ansys HFSS.
- Familiarity with version control systems and statistical semiconductor device behavior.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve process design kits (PDKs) for RF filter design supporting tools like Cadence AWR and ADS.
- Create and manage technology files, including symbols, device parameters, p-cells, and design verification decks.
- Translate design rule manuals into accurate PDK implementations.
- Resolve PDK issues and bugs; build test structures and run simulations to validate models and designs.
- Maintain resonator modeling databases and support EM and thermal setup within the PDK.
- Stay updated on XBAW technology advances to continually improve PDKs.
- Assist in automating design flows using scripting languages such as Python, VB, and SKILL.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
