Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 7+ years of experience as a practicing litigation attorney (law firm, in-house, and/or government)
- Demonstrated trial or arbitration hearing experience and in-court advocacy
- Strong legal writing, analysis, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong client relationships
- Bar admission in at least one U.S. state and good standing
- ITAR eligibility (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee/asylee, or ability to obtain required authorizations)
Responsibilities
- Manage labor/employment, consumer, contractual, commercial, products liability, and other litigation matters across the U.S. and internationally
- Oversee all phases of litigation and third-party discovery, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery requests/responses, briefs, and other court filings
- Conduct internal investigations and advise on risk mitigation and remediation measures
- Develop litigation strategy, negotiate settlements, and represent the company at trials and arbitration hearings
- Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to manage budgets, case timelines, and discovery efforts
- Provide lessons-learned feedback to business teams to implement appropriate legal controls
- Be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed and travel up to 10% of the time
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar of at least one U.S. state in good standing
