The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), Center for Health Statistics section in Portland, Oregon, is currently recruiting for an Amendments Specialist.
As an Amendments Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing requests for amending vital records. This role involves providing information regarding relevant policies and procedures, as well as interpreting Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) and administrative rules through in-person, phone, and written communication. Additionally, you will provide support to other staff members in delivering amendment services.

Limited Duration Information: This is a limited-duration appointment that is expected to last up to 17 months. Limited-duration positions are benefit-eligible and have a designated length of service. OHA retains the right to end the limited-duration assignment at any time. This position may have the opportunity to become permanent pending future budget modifications.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents. OR
An associate degree in any field. OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check and a driving records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment.

The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Review the Classification and Compensation page for more details on the classification.
