- Experience in manufacturing/production or logistics environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, GD&T, and assembly instructions
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Kaizen, DFM, and problem-solving methodologies
- Proficient with MS Office and shop floor systems (ERP); comfortable with data tracking and KPIs
- Physical ability to work onsite, lift up to 25 lbs, and adapt to shift schedules
Responsibilities
- Lead, schedule, and coordinate electronics production associates and assemblers to meet production targets
- Enforce company standards, safety rules, and quality procedures on the production floor
- Prioritize work based on production schedules and organizational goals; coordinate cross-functional support
- Identify and mitigate production risks; reduce downtime and eliminate defects across the area value stream
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action plans for non-conforming hardware
- Optimize product flow and manufacturability; review drawings and technical data packages and provide feedback to engineering
- Support product transitions from engineering development to full-rate production and continuous improvement initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field OR 5+ years of professional manufacturing/production/logistics experience in lieu of degree
- 2+ years of SpaceX experience can be accepted in lieu of degree
