Responsibilities
- Design, build, and activate fluids systems for distribution of specialty/bulk gases, hazardous chemicals, and exhaust/abatement equipment
- Own projects cradle-to-grave: requirements, design, procurement, commissioning, and project management
- Develop modular, scalable system designs for future production facilities
- Create P&IDs, perform equipment sizing, fluid and thermal analysis, and materials/component selection
- Perform safety and hazard assessments (FMEA, HAZOP) and define emergency shutdown and redundancy strategies
- Design and deploy data acquisition and control systems for facility monitoring and automation
- Integrate fluid systems with process equipment to optimize delivery rates, purity, and recycling
- Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ASME, NFPA, and SEMI standards
- Track system performance metrics and lead initiatives for reliability, yield, and sustainability
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related engineering discipline
- Advanced degree in engineering preferred but not required
