- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and make risk-based decisions with incomplete data
Responsibilities
- Represent Starship avionics throughout integration, test, launch and recovery phases
- Triage, troubleshoot, root cause, and repair electrical hardware issues on an aggressive production schedule
- Operate as avionics operator during pad and flight operations to assess vehicle health and recommend real-time actions
- Develop and improve avionics architectures to reduce mass, cost, and labor in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Create and automate test procedures, tools, and diagnostics to accelerate production and improve reliability
- Document failures, corrective actions, and design changes to prevent recurrence and inform continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or math (required)
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred)
