Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices according to company policies
- Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices (3-way match)
- Prepare and execute payments via check, ACH, or wire transfers
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain accurate, organized records of payable transactions
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Monitor account coding and ensure payments are up to date
- Collaborate with Procurement and Receiving to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
