Role Overview:
The Investor Sales Closer (Phone) is a senior-level sales role focused on managing inbound investor leads, building relationships, and closing capital commitments for the firm's funds and note programs. Reporting directly to the VP, this role collaborates with the CEO and marketing department to execute fundraising strategies and meet investment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Work closely with the VP to refine closing strategies, call flows, and follow-up systems.
Coordinate with the marketing team to optimize funnels, investor messaging, and pipeline structure.
Investor Relations
Conduct discovery calls, qualification calls, and closing calls with investors.
Manage warm inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, webinars, and other outreach efforts.
Maintain ongoing professional relationships with current investors.
Fundraising Execution
Convert qualified leads into committed investments by guiding investors through documentation and compliance steps.
Track all communication and pipeline movement using the established CRM tool to ensure a streamlined process.
Financial Communication
Clearly explain fund structures, investment timelines, yields, risks, and terms to prospective investors.
Ensure all terms align with official documentation and offerings.
Maintain investor clarity while staying compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as the lead phone closer under the VP, offering expertise and leadership.
Help train and mentor new SDRs or junior callers as the team grows.
Provide weekly updates on KPIs, insights, and progress from investor conversations.
Market Awareness
Relay investor sentiment on rates, returns, and competing offerings back to leadership.
Assist in adjusting fundraising strategies based on real-time data from investor calls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience
3+ years of experience closing high-ticket or investment-related deals by phone.
Strong understanding of investor psychology, objection handling, and trust-building techniques.
Experience in real estate investing, private placements, or capital raising is a plus.
Skills
Proficiency with CRM tools (Go High Level or similar).
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
High ethics, professionalism, and respect for investor capital.
Experience
Proven success in phone-based sales and closing investment deals.
Experience in real estate, financial services, or investment fund sectors is highly preferred.
Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to potential investors.
