VP, Marketing (B2B Growth & Product Marketing)

Sauce is a premier restaurant technology platform that helps businesses grow with our Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup structure and proprietary delivery optimization technology. We are serving a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business. Headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.


We are looking for a “marketing architect” who can build the complete marketing engine that transforms Sauce's validated product-market fit into market-leading dominance in restaurant technology.


You'll be joining Sauce at the most exciting inflection point, where we have proven traction and growth momentum and need someone who can architect the systems, processes, and team that will carry Sauce to the next level of scale. This isn't about incremental growth; it's about building marketing as Sauce's “strategic competitive advantage” in the restaurant tech space.


-Elevate our market presence so Sauce becomes the default platform restaurants think of when they want to own their digital and delivery business


-Synchronize brand, demand, lifecycle, and partnerships into a single, data-driven system that feeds Sales with a healthy, high-value pipeline


-Infuse AI agents into every workflow, turning routine marketing tasks into autonomous, always-optimizing loops that free your team to focus on strategy and creativity


-Build a bench of high-ceiling operators who can out-execute far larger competitors and adapt as growth levers evolve.

This role reports directly into the CEO of Sauce.


What You’ll Own:
  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Complete B2SMB Marketing P&L: Budget allocation, Payback, ROI optimization, and revenue accountability across all channels
  • Brand & Category Creation: Work with the Brand team to ensure we position Sauce as the definitive solution in restaurant tech
  • Product Marketing Ownership: Complete ownership of Sauce's positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, and competitive intelligence
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work seamlessly with Sales, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success (among others) to optimize the entire customer journey

  • Pipeline Generation:
  • Pipeline Generation at Scale: Multi-channel approach including paid, organic, partnerships, events, online, offline, and account-based marketing
  • Pipeline Optimization: End-to-end funnel management from awareness through expansion and strong positive NRR (>110%)
  • Strategic Partnerships: Support, co-develop and manage channel partnerships, co-marketing initiatives, and strategic alliances that drive pipeline growth
  • Sales Enablement: Equip sales with tools, content, and insights that accelerate deal velocity and increase win rates

  • Operational Excellence:
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Implement sophisticated attribution, forecasting, and optimization frameworks
  • AI-Powered Marketing: Deploy and integrate AI agents for lead enrichment, content creation, campaign optimization, predictive analytics, and basically anything!
  • Marketing Technology: Build and optimize the MarTech stack for efficiency and insights
  • Process Innovation: Create repeatable systems that scale without linear resource increases
  • Performance Accountability: Weekly/monthly business reviews with clear metrics and corrective actions

  • Team & Culture:
  • Talent Magnet: Recruit and develop A-players who can execute against larger competitors
  • High-Performance Culture: Create an environment where ambitious professionals thrive and grow
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a key executive team member driving company-wide initiatives
  • Partnership Leadership: Assist the partnerships team and strategic alliance development
  • Knowledge Transfer: Document and systematize marketing approaches for sustainable growth
  • Hands-On Execution: Remain fluent in ad platforms, prompt engineering, SQL, and experimentation tooling - no ivory-tower strategists.

  • First 90 Days: Audit & Architect
  • Immerse yourself in the brand’s narrative, analyze key marketing funnels, and deliver actionable feedback to drive meaningful impact on the Brand’s narrative.
  • Revenue Intelligence: Audit Sauce's complete funnel from awareness to expansion, identifying the 3-5 levers that will drive 10x growth
  • Team & Systems: Assess current marketing stack, team capabilities, and organizational structure 
  • Growth Blueprint: Deliver a comprehensive 6-12-month plan showing exactly how marketing will drive significant new ARR growth for Sauce
  •  Funnel & Data Forensics: Audit CAC/LTV, attribution, and CRM plumbing; ship a growth plan that shows exactly how we’ll:
  • reach $X M new revenue run-rate by Q1’26-close
  • generate $X ARR from demand-gen channels each quarter
  • deliver X daily inbound high quality leads.
  • specify how AI/Agents can accelerate growth & execution  
  • Quick Wins: Ship 2-3 high-impact initiatives that demonstrate immediate pipeline acceleration
  • Org Control: Take line management of Demand Gen/SEO/Social/Content talent, hiring, and “high-ceiling” talent-bench plan.

  • First Year: Build & Scale
  • Pipeline Engine: Marketing-sourced pipeline representing XX%+ of Sauce's sales targets
  • Brand Transformation: Ensure we establish Sauce as the category leader that competitors react to, not the reverse
  • Team Excellence: Build a world-class marketing organization with clear promotion paths and industry-leading retention
  • Operational Excellence: Implement attribution, forecasting, and optimization systems that make Sauce's marketing as predictable as engineering
  • Unlock Exponential Growth using AI & Automations across the entire marketing organization
  • Create a culture of highly analytical, numbers-driven, highly low-level technical details, well-segmented discussions, and not (just) storytelling and fluff

  • Market Leadership: Make Sauce the first name restaurants think of for online ordering & delivery solutions
  • Revenue Machine: Marketing drives consistent, predictable pipeline growth quarter over quarter

  • Scale-Ready: Systems and team are built for enterprise-scale growth with minimal additional infrastructure investment


What You Bring:
  • Experience building marketing as a sustainable competitive moat in crowded markets
  • Scale-Up Expertise: 8-10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing in leadership role with proven experience scaling companies through rapid growth phases generating Y% YoY growth of $XX+ ARR
  • Revenue Accountability: Proven experience in successfully acquiring double-digit ARR while being hands-on/leading a team
  • Leadership Excellence: Direct experience building and leading marketing teams of 5+ people
  • AI & Technology Obsession & Appetite: Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered marketing tools, automation platforms, and advanced analytics (Such as Hubspot, Looker, Amplitude or similar tools)
  • Data Obsessed: You make decisions based on data, not opinions, but can act decisively with incomplete information
  • Strategic + Tactical: Equally comfortable setting 3-year strategy and optimizing campaign performance


Preferred But Not Required:
  • Restaurant SaaS / Marketplace Experience: Deep understanding of restaurant industry challenges, buyer personas, and decision-making processes - ideally with commission-free delivery or restaurant technology platforms
  • Hypergrowth Experience: Lived through the challenges of scaling marketing during rapid growth phases
  • Cross-Functional Excellence: Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Product, and Customer Success leadership
  • AI Marketing Innovation: Proven track record of implementing and scaling AI-powered marketing solutions, from lead scoring to content generation to predictive analytics
  • Experience with modern data stacks (dbt, Redshift, Census).
